The company develops premium music, gaming and professional headsets to a global market. To maintain the high ambitions for growth and further strengthen the mechanical development team, they are looking for a competent, creative and result oriented mechanical engineer with Creo user skills.

Mechanical development to achieve premium user feeling

The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary development department located at our headquarters in Copenhagen. As part of cross-functional project teams the candidate will be responsible for developing mechanical mechanisms, integrating acoustical and electrical solutions and ensure supreme user comfort with cost and manufacturability in focus.

In daily work, the candidate will have a strong interface to electro-acoustic, manufacturing, quality and hardware engineers. The goal is that the candidate can be the technical expert on the conceptual development of mechanical systems and on maturing parts for injection molding processes. Furthermore, the candidate will be involved in the mechanic development process from conceptual development, over mechanical realization, to full implementation at the company’s production site in Asia.

Achieving premium quality is a main target. As part of the company’s dynamic and integrated development approach the candidate will therefore utilize our in-house tool-shop facilities and equipment for reliability testing during development phase. You will also be in close contact to best suppliers in the field of tool-design and surface plating technologies.

Since personal contact to the company’s suppliers is a vital part of this job, it requires the availability for travelling 3-4 times per year to other countries.

To qualify for this position, the candidate should hold the following competences:

  • High skills for using Creo / PDMLink experience is an advantage
  • Profound experience with complex plastic parts and maturing these for injection molding processes
  • Broad knowledge within production techniques is a strong plus
  • Able to mediate technical knowledge in English

The candidate should have an outgoing and creative personality, take initiative and is flexible to adjust to changes in the project period. Since the company always strive for delivering premium results, the right candidate should put pride into the professional competency development of him or herself and the team members.
